Link etiquette
I have been having some trouble fathoming the etiquette for linking to other people's blogs. I have a few that I read daily and I would like to share them with the world. However, is it poor form to link to them without having asked them first? Will they think that I expect them to link back to me in reciprocation? Will it look like I'm stalking? Should I start by commenting on their blogs first? (aargh too shy....)
Well. I am saved. Because today is apparently Blog Day; the day on which those with blogs are meant to link to five other people with blogs to, you know, spread the lurve.
So here, in no particular order, are five blogs that make my lunchtime go quicker (and sometimes other sneaky bits of the working day too).
Rhodri. One of the first blogs I ever read; still definitely one of the funniest. He has an intimate knowledge of Muswell Hill and a thorough understanding of grammar, and spells well. All plus points.
I stumbled across Cliff Jones today (not literally, you understand). His 7 August post made me splurt tea through my nose.
I would mention a Free Man in Preston but everyone knows about him, so I won't.
This is lovely.
Step forward PixelDiva, whose birthday it apparently is today. Happy birthday! *waves*
And, last but not least, little.red.boat, without whom I would not have known about this whole Blog Day thingummajig, and whose blog I sought out after reading this.
Bugger, now I do look like a stalker.

Thanks for the birthday wishes.

Oh, and on the etiquette front - link away - tis the nature of the beast... and feel free to comment too - everyone loves comments, no need to be shy about it :)
